The pup-tastic grooming staff at Rover Oaks Pet Resort in Katy are helping animals from Citizens for Animal Protection (CAP) go from bow to wow by providing weekly doggie makeovers for lucky CAP dogs each Wednesday. The pups also receive a free grooming certificate from Rover Oaks Katy so their new adoptive parents can continue to keep them looking their best!
Our makeover this week features Jean Luc, a six month old poodle mix, found as a matted and dirty stray near Fry Road and West Little York.
Meet Jean Luc BEFORE His Rover’s Makeover!
Jean Luc is still very much a puppy, but made it through his first grooming process with an inquisitive and playful attitude. Because he was so matted, he had to be shaved so he can start over...but with regular grooming he will have a beautiful coat! Jean Luc's stray hold is up at the end of the day on May 10, at which time he will be looking for a wonderful home to call his own.
Check Out Jean Luc NOW!
Jean Luc and many other wonderful dogs, cats and small animals are waiting patiently for loving homes at Citizens for Animal Protection, 17555 Katy Freeway (I-10 at Barker-Clodine). You can also visit them on the web at www.cap4pets.org, but as there are many more animals at the shelter than are listed on the website, it is definitely worth a visit. This Sunday (Mother's Day), CAP is featuring 50% off adoption fees for animals over 2 years old, over 35 pounds or who have been at the shelter for over two months. What better way to celebrate Mother's Day than by bringing home a new furbaby (or two)? Hurry over to CAP...your new best friend is waiting to meet you!

Good story and a pleasant samoutimn of the problem. My only problem with the analysis is given that much of the population joined the chorus of deregulatory mythology, given vested interest is inclined toward perpetuation of the current system and given a lack of a popular cheerleader for your arguments, I'm not seeing much in the way of change.
