Friday Fun! Hail to the Chief!

Happy Friday from Chief, a recent winner of our pups playing contest and one gorgeous Golden Retriever!

Chief was adopted in January of 2010 through Golden Beginnings Golden Retriever Rescue. Mom Jennifer knew that he was the ONE as soon as they met and he joined their family. Jennifer says that he is, "INCREDIBLE with my two little girls and is simply a member of our family."

The paperback edition of The New York Times Bestseller, Through a Dog’s Eyes, written by Canine Assistants founder Jennifer Arnold, is being released. We have the hardback copy already, along with the DVD of the PBS documentary narrated by Neil Patrick Harris. After we had watched the documentary in 2010, we were so moved by the stories, the dogs and those they helped, that we took the opportunity to renew our membership to our local PBS station during a pledge drive.

A Sparkling Diamond! Wendy Diamond Shows Us That “It’s a Dog’s World!”

   

 

There are few that are as “in the know” in the dog world as the incredible Wendy Diamond.  I have recently had the opportunity to get to know all about the amazing things she does for animals and have to say that I am now a HUGE fan!  Adding to my adoration, Wendy is helping Houston’s furry friends by designing and donating a one-of-a-kind collar to SNAPshots’ Collars for a Cause event!
